Designed for those who are new to teaching who wish to enter the profession and offers a realistic experience of working in the lifelong learning sector, together with the necessary generic support in acquiring the skills needed to become an effective lecturer / trainer. The awards meet the national occupational standards, as determined by Lifelong Learning UK (LLUK), and prepare you to meet the requirements for QTLS (Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills), which is the licence required to practice in the lifelong learning sector.
