We carry out research on the distribution and ecology of a variety of invertebrate groups, notably aquatic invertebrates (with a particular strength in studies of hyporheic communities), and the insects of canopies and soils. We also study plant distributions (as indicators of land usage and wider biodiversity, with a particular interest in brownfield land).
