Why Choose Griffith?Griffith Value-Add ProgramsStudy Abroad ProgramComplete one or two semesters of study in Australia and earn credit towards your home degree. Our Study Abroad program provides an opportunity for you to combine your study with an amazing cultural and lifestyle experience. You will broaden your horizons, enhance your employment prospects and prepare yourself for being a global citizen. Outgoing exchangeGriffith offers the opportunity to complete one or two semesters of study at one of our many partner universities across the world and earn credit towards your Griffith degree. You can participate in an outgoing exchange semester or short term 4-6 week mobility programs as part of a full degree. The Griffith Exchange Scholarships Fund (IEIS grants) are usually awarded to students who have a cumulative GPA of 5.5 or above. Community Internship ProgramGriffith offers its undergraduate degree and study abroad students the opportunity to undertake a community internship at an Australian non-for-profit organisation for credit. This free choice elective offers students the opportunity to gain experience in an Australian work place and combine volunteering with academic learning. Griffith Industry Mentoring ProgramGriffith offers this nationally recognised program to full degree undergraduate and postgraduate students. This program aims to assist students' transition from study to graduate work by facilitating in-depth understanding of potential employing organisations, work roles and workplaces. Work Integrated Learning (WIL) internshipsFull-degree students undertake a work related project or a placement in a work environment as part of their study program in a wide variety of study areas. Griffith Honours CollegeThe Griffith Honours College is designed for high achieving students to develop leadership, teamwork and research skills, as well as a global perspective. One-year and 'Career Changing' Master programsGriffith offers a diverse range of one-year Master programs. If you already have a Bachelor degree but want to take your study in a different direction, Griffith offers 'Career Changing' Master programs. These Master programs don't have specific Bachelor degree prerequisites, rather you can have a non-related Bachelor degree plus work experience in a related field.

AccommodationThere are many accommodation options available for international students to choose from in both Brisbane and the Gold Coast. On-campus accommodation is available at our Nathan, Mt Gravatt, Gold Coast and Logan campuses. There are many benefits to living on-campus including the opportunity to, live within walking distance of the university buildings and facilities, meet people from all over the world and enjoy an exciting calendar of sporting, cultural and social events. Off-Campus accommodation is also available and renting is the most common type of accommodation chosen by international students.
