We have 64 professional accredited courses available to help you progress with your career - offering many opportunities for you to learn from professional experts through high profile guest lectures and networking events.

Study to suit your needs

Many of our courses can be studied full-time or part-time and there are also some online options so you can gain your qualification at a time and place that suits you.

You can start your studies in September or January and in some cases May.

Our libraries are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. There is a library at each of our campuses and online to give you access when you need it.

Enhance your potential through research

Research is an integral part of our university as it informs our curriculum, helping our academics and postgraduate students to push the knowledge boundaries to achieve social and economic progress. 

A research degree gives you the opportunity to extend your first qualification and develop your existing skills and knowledge through researching a topic of your choice. We offer a range of research awards including PhD, DPhil, EdD, DBA, Mphil, MRes and more.  Our specialist research areas include our Institute for Health and Wellbeing, the Leeds Sustainability Institute and the Leeds Digital Institute.

Our campuses and facilities

We have two campuses. City Campus is in the heart of Leeds city centre and is a 10 minute walk from the train and bus station. Our Headingley Campus is set in picturesque parkland only three miles from the city centre and is easily accessible by a regular campus bus service, while Headingley Train Station is a short walk away.

In the last three years we have opened three award-winning buildings with state-of-the-art teaching facilities. Broadcasting Place has professional design studios and exhibition space, the Rose Bowl is home to our Business School and Carnegie Pavilion is a joint venture with Yorkshire Country Cricket Club. Other facilities include music and film studios, Mac and computer labs, Sports Science labs, laboratories, a mock court room and much more.

Postgraduate Scholarships

A scholarship of £1,500 is available for new full-time students studying an MA, MSc or MBA who are eligible to pay Home/EU fees. For students studying part-time or for an award such as a Postgraduate Diploma or Certificate, a pro-rata scholarship is available. A scholarship is also available for international students.
