Richmond, the American International University in London's degrees are accredited in the US and validated in the UK the world's two most highly regarded higher education systems and are thereby acknowledged worldwide. Richmond has campuses in two of London's most appealing communities: Richmond-upon-Thames and Kensington.

The employability of our graduates is a central theme at Richmond. Our active internship programme will assist students in taking their first career steps. Providing students with access to excellent academic teaching, Richmond students are taught by experienced academic staff, in small class sizes and with substantial contact hours (average 18 students per class and 15 taught hours a week).

Accreditation

Richmond's degrees have US accreditation (Commission on Higher Education of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools), plus institutional approval in the United Kingdom by The Open University(OU). Richmond also holds UK government-recognized accreditation from the British Accreditation Council (BAC).

Facilities

Richmond's postgraduate students are located on the Kensington campus in the heart of London. The campus lecture halls and classrooms, offices and some on-campus accommodation are contained within 5 buildings, all within a 10-minute walk of each other. There are also two on-campus satellite buildings, which are located just a 15 minute walk away. The campus also has its own library with a cafe and cafeteria on-site.

London offers spectacular resources and opportunities for learning outside of the classroom. Students studying in London are able to take advantage of the wide variety of museums, galleries, theatres, shops and night life. Students in London strive to make the most of this cosmopolitan city and the varied opportunities it offers. London is a student-friendly city, allowing students discounted rates for exploring the majority of the city's cultural landscape. Richmond courses are also fed by the life of the city - its people, institutions, politics and history, which are integrated into lectures and class projects. This allows students to make the most of the city both inside and outside of the classroom.
