The Royal Veterinary College (RVC) is internationally recognised as a leading teaching and veterinary research centre and is the UK's largest, longest-standing and only independent specialist veterinary institution. The College offers a range of postgraduate study and research opportunities that are designed to satisfy the growing international demand for veterinary scientists and related professionals. Whilst some programmes require a first degree in veterinary medicine, others are open to graduates from general science disciplines, whilst the RVC research programme addresses basic and clinical problems in the biosciences, with applications in veterinary and human medicine. Masters/Diploma/Short CoursesOur specialist programmes and short courses are taught by internationally renowned staff and develop skills in particular areas and are either full-time or distance learning to suit your needs.
Scholarships are available for UK/EU students for the MSc in Control of Infectious Diseases and for UK students for the MSc in Veterinary Epidemiology. PhD StudentshipsThe programme is three-four years full-time, based in London and Hertfordshire. The RVC currently has around 130 students. Students are admitted to a research group under one of the following themes:
Clinical Training Scholarships (Internships & Residencies)Student scholarships are offered for both one-year junior clinical training scholars (internships) and three-year senior clinical training scholars (residencies).
