Our postgraduate taught provision comprises approximately 130 different full-time and part-time Taught Courses, including MA, MSc, MSc (Eng), LLM and MBA. Our research programmes are offered across a wide spectrum of subjects, from Music to Medicine and from Architecture to Veterinary Science. Full-time and part-time Research degrees include the MPhil and PhD, but also degrees such as the MD in the Faculty of Medicine. The University of Liverpool offers everything you need to support your studies. We have two main libraries, both open 24 hours a day, housing an ever-expanding collection of more than 1.9 million books, 19,000 electronic journals and special collections. With the latest technology facilities and high-quality computing support services, you will have access to several thousand networked PCs; Broadband internet access in University accommodation and Wi-Fi access across the campus. Our Graduate School is the central source of support and development for postgraduate researchers at Liverpool. Our 3,224 postgraduate students are from all over the world. Of these, 1,824 are registered for research degrees and nearly 1,400 for taught programmes at Certificate, Diploma or Masters level. Most of our postgraduate accommodation is on campus close to all facilities and within walking distance of the city of Liverpool. To relax you can take advantage of our sports facilities which include a brand new Sports Centre with two sports halls, a 33-metre swimming pool, four squash courts, a dance studio, fitness suite and weight training rooms. Near to the University and throughout the city there are places of worship, including one of the oldest mosques in the UK, a Hindu temple, the Roman Catholic Cathedral and the Anglican Cathedral. The Guild of Students is host to religious societies representing each of the major faiths and has as a prayer room. City of Culture
