The attractive University Quarter sits in the heart of one of Britain's most historic cities. Our student population is comprised of over 20,000 students including 3,000 from overseas. Why Portsmouth?

The University of Portsmouth offers a rich variety of study opportunities - our postgraduate taught programmes and postgraduate research degrees are delivered by departments and schools, each with their own unique identity. Most programmes offer both full and part-time options to provide flexible delivery of programmes in order to meet the demands of busy lifestyles. Many of our programmes are recognised by professional bodies and provide access to employers searching for highly qualified personnel.

Postgraduate study makes special demands on students in terms of developing research skills, organisational capacity and independent thought. Students gain extra confidence from meeting these demands and this enables them to offer something extra to current or future employers.

As a postgraduate student at the University of Portsmouth, the resources available to you are considerable.
