To apply for postgraduate study you must satisfy the University's general entry requirements as well as any specific requirements for your chosen programme. Further information about how to apply Fees and fundingAs a postgraduate student you will need to pay annual tuition fees to the University for the taught course or research programme that you are studying. In addition to tuition fees, you will need to consider how to cover your living costs, including accommodation fees, study materials and social activities. The estimated annual costs of living in Southampton are approximately £7,500 for a postgraduate student, £3,000 for a partner and £1,500 for a child. This includes accommodation, food, clothes, books and other personal expenditure. For some courses or research programmes you may be able to apply for funding from the University or from external sources to cover your tuition fees and living expenses.
