Excellent facilities

We've recently invested £130 million in our two Sunderland campuses. Highlights of the campus developments include:

• £20m media arts centre, featuring a 200-seat HD cinema and 4,600m² of TV and radio studios, workshops and editing suites
• £12m sports centreopened in 2009, chosen as a pre-Olympic training centre for the 2012 Olympics
• £8.5m Sciences Complex, opened in 2011

These facilities are spread over two campuses: City Campus and the Sir Tom Cowie Campus at St Peter's, which is just five minutes away from miles of beautiful sandy beach.
