The University invites applications for admission to full time research studies commencing in September 2013.
Studentships will be available for selected applicants*.
Research supervision leading to the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) is offered in the following Research Institutes:

Biomedical Sciences, Built Environment, Computer Science, Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Nursing Research, Psychology
Social Sciences
Business & Management, Research in Social Sciences, Sports & Exercise Sciences, Transitional Justice (Law)
Arts and Humanities
Art & Design, Arts and Humanities, Irish and Celtic Studies, Media Research
Master of Research (MRes)
A one-year full-time programme leading to the award of Master of Research is offered in the Faculties of Arts and Life and Health Sciences. Awards may be available for selected applicants.

To be considered for entry, applicants should hold, or expect to hold by 15 August 2013 a first or upper second class honours degree in a subject relevant to the proposed research topic. The closing date for the receipt of applications for full time study and associated awards will be advertised in January/February 2013.
Interviews will form part of the selection process and are likely to be held during April 2013.
