Supply Chain is one of the largest functions in our businesses and covers everything from field to fork. Our 18-month graduate scheme is made up of three placements within one grocery business, where you might work in areas such as:
- Technical and food safety
- Health and safety
- Continuous improvement
- Production planning
A busy and demanding programme - you will learn and develop essential leadership skills, receive regular coaching and feedback from your line manager and benefit from structured training and mentorship.
We only take a select number of graduates every year as we believe in giving you the visibility, responsibility and focused support to grow your career with us. You’ll have the opportunity to take ownership of projects from day one, and plenty of support and development to accelerate your learning. Our businesses are very agile so we need our people to be adaptable, resilient and comfortable working at pace in an ever-changing environment. You’ll receive plenty of support along the way but you will be required to drive your own career. If this scheme sounds like the role and environment for you, visit our website to find out more and to apply.

Associated British Foods is a diversified international food, ingredients and retail group with sales in excess of £13bn, over 130,000 employees and a presence in 50 countries.
We recruit 18-25 graduates each year into our Grocery division, which comprises eight consumer-facing businesses that manufacture and market a variety of well-known brands both nationally and internationally. The businesses have developed an enviable portfolio of leading grocery brands, such as Jordans cereals, Patak’s curry pastes, Kingsmill bread, Ryvita crispbread, Silver Spoon sugar, Twinings tea and many more! We’ve also recently acquired two fantastic sports nutrition brands; High 5 and Reflex Nutrition, further broadening the categories in which we operate.
We need our graduates to be adaptable, resilient, comfortable working at pace, driven to get results and willing to get stuck in. Our culture is very down-to-earth so having confidence without ego is important to us, too. Our graduates come from all sorts of different backgrounds, with different degrees and interests but alignment with ABF's values and an ability to demonstrate the appropriate competencies are the key elements to success on our schemes.
