If you are ambitious and passionate about research and customer service then our Trainee Analyst role is for you.

Trainee analysts will be employed on permanent contracts, but will participate on a programme lasting up to 18 months. The programme will involve a number of aspects, including:

  • Intensive induction period to build understanding of AHDB.
  • Tailored training courses to develop both generic and technical skills.
  • Opportunities to participate in farm and industry visits to build knowledge of agriculture and the wider food supply chain.
  • Work placements within the teams in AHDB MI.

Throughout the course of the scheme, trainees can apply for any role within the organisation. We hope that all trainees will have secured a position by the end of scheme; however, if this has not been possible, then they will be placed in a flexible B grade analyst role once their trainee scheme has ended, subject to meeting minimum standards. This position would be working across various teams, depending on business needs and requirements, for varying lengths of time.
