An exciting opportunity to gain a fully funded degree apprenticeship with Amey Consulting and Sheffield Hallam University.

We’ve got an exciting new opportunity at Amey Consulting. We’ve partnered with Sheffield Hallam University to offer a ground-breaking Rail Degree Apprentice Programme where you’ll gain a rail engineering degree at the same time as getting real experience on the job working on live rail projects for Amey Consulting.

Year one is the same course content for everyone and from year two onwards you’ll specialise in one of the following railway engineering disciplines: Electrical and Mechanical Engineering; Track and Civil Engineering or Signalling and Telecoms

Person requirements:

  • Ability to travel – occasional travel within the UK, mainly to Sheffield for study blocks.
  • Available to start the programme in March 2020
  • Passion for developing your skills both professional and personally
  • 112 UCAS points - this must include at least 64 points from two A levels or equivalent BTEC National Qualifications including a mathematics based subject AND at least one other relevant subject - physics, physical science, engineering science, computer science, chemistry, other science/technology subject
  • GCSE - English Language and Maths at grade C or 4
