Still recruiting throughout COVID‑19

Job description

Do you want to start your finance career with one of the largest retailers in the UK?

At Asda, there are endless opportunities for you to make the crucial decisions on what, when and where we invest our money. Accelerating your career within an organisation that is constantly evolving, you will be challenged to work with complex data, use your analytical skills to support decision making, and maximise business performance potential. All to deliver the best products at the best prices for our customers.

Working in partnership with every area of the business, you'll be making commercial and professional connections that will give you both a real depth of experience and a truly big picture perspective of our operation and industry.

You'll also be studying towards CIMA, supported by a network of experienced professionals committed to nurturing you on your path to become a future leader.

We want to help you develop breadth and depth of experience, so over the three-year programme, you'll complete two to three rotations. • Commercial finance
  • Operational finance
  • Controllership
  • Audit
  • Record to Report

Your ability to build relationships and communicate complex information to a wide range of colleagues and stakeholders will be key to the success of the real-life projects you will be working on. Analysing a variety of commercial problems, you'll find patterns and anomalies, suggesting solutions to drive our performance and fine-tune our processes.

What we are looking for

You'll have a keen interest in future technologies, strong research and critical thinking skills and an inquisitive mindset

You will also need to have the right to work in the UK upon commencement and at least until the end of the programme.
