Job description

Are you interested in fashion? And how we can deliver products sustainability without reducing quality and increasing costs for our customers?

George's sustainability commitments mean that you'll be challenged to make our brand as efficient, ethical and responsible as possible, ensuring that we take the necessary steps to protect our planet and reduce the carbon footprint we leave behind. You will gain invaluable experience where you can make an impact from day one, working across multiple teams in the largest volume-clothing retailer in the UK.

You'll be supported by a network of experienced professionals who will help you build your strengths and broaden your skills, readying you for a successful career within the fashion industry. On a daily basis you can expect to be analysing data, forecasting trends, negotiating with suppliers and marketing our products, all whilst aiming to deliver the best quality products for the best prices. Operating on a huge scale and for the fastest growing online platform in the UK, you'll be joining an organisation with endless opportunities for you to explore our business and accelerate your career within an industry that is constantly evolving.

We want to help you develop breadth and depth of experience, so over the two-year programme, you'll complete two to three rotations. This will give you an opportunity to build your network, develop new skills and gain insights into our industry by working across different parts of the George business. These could include:

  • George Brand
  • Product Design
  • Buying and Account Management
  • Merchandise Analytics
  • Sustainable Sourcing, Quality and Procurement
  • Supply Analytics

This is a thoroughly modern apprenticeship offering you a mix of digital content, interactive games and immersive exercises as well as the chance to apply what you've learned, pretty much from day one. The result is learning that doesn't feel like learning, and that's both more rewarding and more productive.
