Customer Service Training Programme

Job description

Build a career in customer service. Are you aged 19-24 and unemployed?

Work towards a qualification in customer service, guaranteed interviews upon completion, with the option to gain paid employment, option to move onto an apprenticeship in retail/hospitality, and do all this by bypassing standard interview processes.

Programme

During this six week programme you will complete an online training programme and work placement to prepare you for a job in the retail/hospitality sector. This will include;

  • Level 1 Award in Employability Skills (City & Guilds)
  • Level 2 Award in Customer Service (City & Guilds)
  • 70-hour Placement with RoadChef where you can showcase your skills and build on your customer service skills in roles such as such as retail assistants, crew members, and baristas.

Skills and qualifications

RoadChef will be recruiting through a pre-employment training programme so you don’t need any previous work experience or qualifications to apply, we will help you build the skills that RoadChef are looking for.

Job outcomes

Should you be successful during your work experience, Road Chef will be looking to move successful candidates into fully paid positions, along with them having the option to enrol onto the apprenticeship programme to gain a qualification in retail or hospitality. Road Chef career progression programmes do not just stop there, they also offer team leader and management training programmes too! Benefits

A minibus to work scheme and subsides £1 lunch will be available.

Please note that this is a training course which has the potential to lead to employment. It is funded by the government and there is no fee for the training

All training and support are provided by Animal Careers Programme and they will get a reconsiged qualification and employment at the end which is £8.87 per hour.

What we are looking for

  • To be eligible to take part in the training programme you must be aged 19-24, unemployed, and not hold a qualification above level three or equivalent.
