We work in a fast-paced, agile environment, which means collaboration is vital. Our teams focus on different customer groups, products or services, which in turn determines the technologies used in the team. The teams consist of Technical, Product and Delivery Leads, UX Designers and Researchers, Test and Data Analysts and Developers (Java/JavaScript/Python).

Our Software Developers have extensive Java knowledge and develop web applications and RESTful services with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular and ReactJS. They're excited by the latest trends in application design and pragmatic approaches to ensure consistency and simplicity for our customers. Our technical community has adopted software development methodologies such as XP, Scrum, Kanban, and TDD and is passionate about clean code. They care about the next generation of developers and understand the importance of collaboration, knowledge share and play a vital role in the Graduate journey; through coaching and mentoring.

All of our graduates start their journey at our in-house academy. You don't have to be a car enthusiast to work here, so upon joining; we'll grow your knowledge of the automotive industry so you can truly understand our customers and what we do as a business. During your time in the academy, you will form a dynamic network of Graduate colleagues, and develop your coding skills in your squad.

Our blended approach to learning encompasses both technical and commercial skills, so you can be sure your technical decisions will be customer-centric. As you progress through the programme, you'll help the external technical community through STEM Ambassador initiatives, mentoring and community hacks.

Benefits and more

We offer a starting salary of £26,000 and a flexible benefits package, including a pension scheme, healthcare and 28 days annual leave (not inc bank holidays) plus ½ day afternoon closures on Christmas and New Year’s Eve. Also, we'll give you the time to attend boot camps, hacks and conferences.

We believe that curiosity is an intrinsic value amongst our Software Developers, so we'll seek to understand your interest in technology. You'll have a passion for code and be excited by our agile, collaborative and customer-first culture. As an organisation, we've built a culture of learning, so we're eager to hear how you've complemented your studies and knowledge up until this point. You may have attended a university or community hack or enjoy working on technical challenges with friends, so we'd love to see your Github, portfolios or examples of your projects.
