About Aviva

Aviva is a leading international insurance, savings, retirement, and investment business. When the worst happens, we’re here to put the wrongs right.

You might be thinking we’re just another boring, corporate firm. But we don’t all wear suits and shiny shoes here. We’re proud to be different and just like our customers, our people are a mix of cultures, genders, and ages.
We’re all about empowering our people to create better tomorrows. And that includes everyone who chooses to start their career with us. Whatever role you join in, whatever your background or interests are, we’ll appreciate everything you bring to our business. Which is why, we go to terrific lengths to bring out the best in you.

Join as a graduate and you’ll have a permanent role you can own from the beginning. You’ll work alongside our highly skilled and hugely supportive teams to become our subject matter experts of the future. With pathways in a wide range of business areas, we’ll help you discover the route that’s right for you. Choose from:

  • Accountancy:

    • Want to solve problems and influence business decisions with your mathematical know-how? This could be for you

  • Actuarial:

    • Your analytical thinking plus our data and tech can supply the science behind managing the risks we face.

  • Change & Transformation:

    • Got an in-built drive to keep improving? Use it to help us spot opportunities and make change happen.

  • Data:

    • Create even better customer experiences with your analysis, insights and on-point problem solving.

  • Marketing:

    • If you’re savvy with social media and confident in communication, help us connect with customers in ways they’ll love.

  • Technology:

    • Passionate about what tech can do? Help us harness its power to create brilliant customer experiences.

  • Wealth:

    • Create, sell, and connect customers with investment products that will help them plan for the future they want

What you’ll need

You’ll either already have a degree or be on track to graduate by the end of Summer 2023 and be available for full-time work from September 2023. Most of our pathways don’t need you to have studied a specific degree subject either. We are mostly interested in ensuring you have the drive to make a difference and the desire to be part of a big business with a big role to play in helping people live easier and happier lives.

What we can offer you

We offer a starting salary of £30,600, an annual performance-related bonus, a generous pension and discount on Aviva products, to name but a few. But that is just the start.

Our Smart working initiative gives our people the chance to work from home for some of the week – enabling you to balance work life and home life. And with 29 days holiday (plus bank holidays) we encourage you to take time away from work too!

You will be joining us in a real role with real responsibilities, giving you a head start on your career and a chance to show us just what you can do from day one. We will give you the opportunity to gain professional qualifications and will provide you with a support network to help you grow into your role.

We also offer a host of other benefits from healthy eating initiatives, health checks, digital GP services and exercise classes, through to products, policies and support designed to help people stay healthy.
