Job description

We are seeking to recruit a Digital designer, who will be based in-house within the marketing department in business HQ Edinburgh. You will be highly proficient in the delivery of high quality animations, video and website elements for projects marketing team projects.

Enthusiastic and personable, the successful candidate will enjoy working in a single client business and contribute to the creative environment.

Job responsibilities

  • Taking a brief from the wider marketing and company teams, you will help develop story boards and elements to action ideas into video and digital format
  • Creation of animated video in Adobe After Effects and other specialist software
  • Design and production of digital, and web assets for the marketing team
  • Guide projects from idea to digital content

Person requirements

  • Creative mind and storytelling skills
  • Can demonstrate experience of working with marketing colleagues to action ideas into video and web format
  • Graduate in a design related discipline
  • Excellent digital design skills and proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite
  • Possess demonstrable video editing and animation skills with an exciting project portfolio
  • Have a pro-active approach to project work, with an exceptional eye for detail
  • Have experience and understanding of web design
  • Proven experience with digital technology and editing software packages
  • Staying on track with emerging digital trends and culture, attending events and engaging with the wider digital creative community
  • Articulating and presenting creative ideas/treatments to teams and senior management
