Places on our Data Analytics graduate programme for Autumn 2019 are available within our central Information services function in addition to our land sector. But no matter which team you join, you could be based anywhere in the UK. That’s why we ask all our graduates to be flexible and willing to move during their programme.
What you'll be doing
Babcock is an advanced user of information and decision support analytics. Through the provision of our information support and exploitation teams we provide information and decision support at the point of need. This directly enables the most critical parts of our business in making decisions when they count.
Working within the analytics stream you will have the opportunity to work on a broad range of projects building your core IX/IM capabilities and developing broader skills along the way as well. Capability areas include: mathematical modelling and simulation, advanced statistical analysis, predictive analysis, web development, data visualisation, information related technology development and strategy development. Along the way, you’ll partner up with a lot of different teams within Babcock and learn from them as you go.

What we are looking for
- You’ll need to satisfy the Ministry of Defence’s security requirements (and may need to complete a medical assessment).
We’re looking for a 2:1 (Hons) degree in mathematics, physics, statistics, operational research and or computer science.
