Graduate Industrial Placement - Land, Defence, Assistant to Head of Operations Support

Job description

As part of the Land sector, our 3,000 strong defence business based out of Andover, supporting force preparation and readiness. As a result, we’re looking to recruit talented, enthusiastic and driven people to join our team. During your placement, you’ll work with the Head of Operations Support, supporting managing the outputs of the operational support functions that enable the end-to-end service to operate effectively.

What you’ll get out of it

During your time with us, we’ll help you develop a variety of skills and give you a chance to work with supportive and knowledgeable professionals giving you a wider variety of experiences for you to take back to university.

If we believe that you have the potential to join our graduate scheme, we would normally sponsor you for the last year of your degree. Sponsorship is only available to candidates who have successfully completed a placement with the company.

What we are looking for

To succeed in this role, it’s essential that you have a positive attitude, as well as a creative and inquisitive approach to problem solving.

We’ll also want you to demonstrate a real interest in projects and have excellent interpersonal skills. In addition, you should be self-motivated, energetic and keen to learn and develop.

Qualifications

We’re looking for undergraduates who are on track for a 2:2 and above.
