At Bakkavor production never stops, we need to plan, manufacture and deliver onto shelves as quickly as possible so our customers are never disappointed and our warehouse and logistics teams are a crucial part of this.
Our warehouse & logistics apprentices will receive practical training in our end to end supply chain process and be involved in organising the storage and distribution of goods to ensure the right products are delivered to the right location on time, every time.

Working in supply chain means working closely with other areas of the business so requires good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Work activites will include:
- Taking deliveries, checking for damaged/missing items.
- Storing goods and moving stock by various methods.
- Picking and packing orders for customers.
- Loading goods for dispatch.
- Maintaining stock records and documentation.

Qualifications
- GCSE or equivalent in English and maths plus three others (Grade 9 – 4 or A*- C) essential
Training
- You will gain a Level 2 Supply Chain Warehouse Operative qualification as well as a fork truck licence.
- Training will be block release for year one and day release for year two
- You will be trained to safely use a range of equipment, machinery and vehicles, relevant to your role and setting. This could include mechanical racking systems, materials handling equipment (MHE) and fork lift trucks.
- At the end of your programme, if you have successfully completed your apprenticeship and achieved the performance targets we have set for you, you are guaranteed a permanent role with us.
