By joining our HR graduate scheme, you’ll work closely with those individuals who are driving our people agenda and the business forward. The scheme will support the development of your skills, knowledge and experience, and will give you a great grounding in HR. Over the two year development programme, you’ll undertake a series of placements that will give you a taste of different functional areas, such as HR Administration, Learning & Development, Recruitment, Employee Relations and HR Projects and Governance, with each one offering an insider’s view of the people and processes that are transforming our business. Each placement will have real responsibility, a line manager and support for development to get your career off to a great start. You will have the opportunity to visit live projects/contracts and to learn from a host of experienced and talented managers. Our programme recognises the importance of giving meaningful and challenging work, so you can expect to be immersed in real activities and given responsibilities from the outset.
The Balfour Beatty Graduate scheme lasts for two years and you will follow a development programme that will equip you with the skills needed to become a business leader of the future. Throughout the two years, you'll be supported by your line manager and mentor and have the opportunity to attend graduate-based events, where you will network with your peers, develop interpersonal skills and share best practice. You will join a graduate cohort and be assigned Business Improvement and Corporate Social Responsibility Projects that can affect the way we work as a business.
Salary and Benefits
