Civil engineering graduates
Starting as an assistant engineer you will progress to incorporated (IEng) and chartered engineer (CEng) status of the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE).
Your programme will include approximately two years’ work experience under supervision, followed by up to one year in a design office. This may be with our internal design team or a recognised consulting engineer’s practice, from our network of design partners and key clients.
We offer a route to chartered engineer status for Higher National Diploma (HND) and Bachelors (BSc or BEng) candidates that does not require further academic study and the associated costs.
Quantity surveying graduates
Starting as an assistant quantity surveyor you will progress to corporate member status and of the Chartered Institution of Civil Engineer Surveyors (ICES).
Your programme will include approximately three years’ work experience under supervision.
Our ongoing learning provides for Engineering Council registration, to achieve technician (EngTech), incorporated (IEng) or chartered engineer (CEng) status.
Our primary professional institution for quantity surveying is ICES but graduates wishing to follow a route to the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) will also be supported and encouraged within our programme of professional development.
