Be our Health & Safety specialist
In this challenging yet rewarding 12 month contract you will support the occupational health, safety and environment team on the deployment of world class safety/environment strategies within our UK, and Northern Europe business. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assessing the sites environmental impacts and aspects with a view for continual improvement
  • Review operational practices in terms of assessed risk and deploy improvement strategies
  • Develop the safety competency of our workforce through engaged training
  • Support the assessment of safe change through assessment and consultation with key departments
  • Championing internal processes
  • Drive the implementation of agreed safety projects
  • Deliver engagement thorough a safer and informed workforce

What we are looking for

You will be ambitious, driven and have recently graduated in a degree in occupational health and safety, environment or similar. We will also be looking for you to demonstrate the following skills and capability:

  • Highly developed risk evaluation skills
  • Able to build relationships at all levels
  • Analytical, structured mind-set
  • Excellent communicator
  • Enhanced ability to structure a concept for risk management and project manage to deployment
