Vehicle Systems Engineers have responsibility for integration of sub-systems; such as brakes, heating, ventilation and air conditioning, doors, any catering and crew facilities, on-board CCTV (Including driver only operation) and passenger communications; into the vehicle. Working closely with key suppliers, the vehicle systems engineer, provides technical support in the design, build, evaluation, integration, test, verification and modification of mechanical and or electrical systems.

Qualifications and experience requirements
Supported by a mentor you will work towards gaining relevant chartered status with one of the engineering bodies such as the IMechE or IET.
You will need a minimum 2:1 BEng or MEng, in automotive, aerospace, mechanical or electrical engineering from courses with product integration and system engineering content. In addition we seek applications from graduates with a BSc or MSc in maths, physics, chemistry/materials or a manufacturing discipline. Candidates must have excellent problem solving skills and a passion for making things happen.
