What you’ll be doing on the Programme
You’ll be given the opportunity to build your commercial experience in pharmacy and other commercial areas, this could include a role in trading or marketing
You’ll be an Assistant Commercial Manager working in conjunction with the Commercial Manager to support the development of our pharmacy services. Your role will involve project management of new and existing services ensuring they are commercially attractive, delivered on time and right first time. You will be responsible for buying and supplier management, agreeing commercial terms and balancing supply and demand. You’ll also have the opportunity to develop marketing plans to promote our services. This is an exciting and stretching role as you will learn to navigate NHS regulations and compliance processes that impact on the world of pharmacy.
You’ll be an Assistant Buying Manager working in conjunction with the Buying Manager to support the development of annual category plans and implement these in line with the overall category strategy. Your role will involve a wide range of activities, covering range management, pricing and promotion, merchandising, buying and supplier management, with a focus on increasing market share and maximising profit. Furthermore you will take responsibility for data analysis and providing insights across all activities to become an expert in your category area and to support management decision-making.
You’ll be an Assistant Marketing Manager working with in a core marketing area this could include designing inspirational marketing campaigns, to considering In-store space, layout, merchandising, loyalty and ecommerce. Working closely with the trading teams to agree the promotional plans to ensure we deliver right first time promotional material for our stores.

Qualifications and experience requirements
