Supply Chain is at the heart of the Boots organisation. The Supply Chain teams ensure all the products you need are on the shelves when you walk into one of our 2,500 Boots stores.

The importance of the Programme
We take our Early Careers development very seriously. We’ve got a long history of running successful graduate programmes and we really want to help you gain some valuable experience in a business that will give you a springboard into your career.

Our two-year structured graduate scheme combines critical on the job experiences alongside a development programme that builds your self-awareness and leadership potential, gives you access to senior leaders and an opportunity to work on real business challenges.

You’ll start your journey within one of our UK stores. This will help you to understand the heart of our business and the part you’ll play in making our customers feel good.

What you’ll be doing on the Programme
You could be working in the following areas:

Retail Supply
You’ll be an Assistant Supply Manager working collaboratively across the function through efficient and effective supply management of inventory from supplier to get the right products in the right place at the right time to deliver world class on shelf availability.

Warehouse Team Leader
Working within one of our large warehouses, you’ll manage a team and be accountable for this part of the warehouse operation creating a positive can-do culture.

Pharmacy Delivery and Collect (PDC)
You could be leading delivery drivers to provide legendary customer care whilst ensuring that they meet tight deadlines and cost targets or you could be supporting the operation by providing insightful routing analysis of the operation supporting the decisions to continuously improve PDC.

Distribution and Innovation
You’ll support change projects aimed at improving ways of working and driving efficiencies across Supply Chain.

Person requirements

  • You’ll be passionate about Supply Chain
  • Commercially focused, with strong communication, analytical and numerical skills
  • Proactive with a positive outlook, working effectively as part of a team and on your own initiative
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to work with good prioritisation skills to effectively manage your own workload
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Ability to communicate at all levels both written and verbal and able to manage expectations of key stakeholders
  • Influencing skills, to work collaboratively across different functions to deliver the right outcomes for the customer and the business

Qualifications and experience requirements

To apply for this role you must be on track or have obtained a 2:1 or above within the last three years.
