About this role
We’re at the forefront of ground-breaking technology. Our networks and systems are world leading, smart and innovative products. But we can only stay at the front of the pack but constantly innovating and working on the next big thing. Whether you’re looking at future innovation, defining strategy, protecting customers through security, or working with teams across BT to develop new products, tools and systems – or maintain current ones – there are countless challenges to tackle and opportunities to develop during our programme.
No matter exactly which project you work on, you’ll be developing & bringing to life methodologies in an agile & human centred environment. We’ll also help you work on your soft skills, such as managing and working with stakeholders across the business. And on top of that, we’ll help you see things from a commercial perspective, so you see valuable opportunities when they arise, as well as talk our customers through them in a way which is simple to understand.
You’ll need to demonstrate your passion for technology, but it’s not all just about being technical. We have systems and tools in place to help you develop your skills, and we’ll also continue to give you the training and development you need to make sure you’ve got the skills and knowledge to succeed.
This placement is available in the Networks part of our business.

Our industrial placements start in September and end in July
What we are looking for
You should be in the penultimate year of a relevant STEM undergraduate degree course and on track to achieve a minimum 2:2.
