Overview
Security (11 months in Industry).

If you're studying a computing based course and want to put those theories to real-world use, then this is the summer internship for you. What's more, if you do well on your internship, we'll invite you to an assessment centre and potentially offer you a place on our graduate programme.

What does it involve?
Group Engineering Services (GES) is a unit within the BT Security Enterprise, specialising in combating cyber-crime and threats to BT's national infrastructure through prototyping, developing, deploying and supporting secure applications and systems.

Here, you'll be working with a wide range of technologies to deliver GES's world-leading solutions including:

  • Vulnerability research

Research into the latest Security vulnerabilities and cutting edge countermeasures.

  • Big Data solutions

Building and utilising Big Data processing and visualisation platforms.

  • Cross-platform innovation

Security applications for desktop, web, mobile and Smart TV applications.

The nature of this work will require you to undergo the UK national security clearance process.

Person requirements
