Job description

Our volunteer opportunities in Nepal give you a new way of seeing things and will change your life for good. The culturally rich location is just an added bonus!

Choose from teaching English, child care or construction projects and fully immerse yourself into Nepali culture. Live with your fellow volunteers in Pokhara and visit traditional Hindu and Buddhist temples in your free time.

Teaching English Project

Schools with poorer areas of Nepal have limited resources and teachers are often in short supply. As a volunteer you'll assist through one to one tutoring with the children as well as leading classroom activities. There's also the opportunity to get involved in extra curricular activities such as arts and crafts and sport. You'll witness first hand the smiles that you put on the children's faces!

  • Teach English and other core subjects in Nepal for 4-12 weeks
  • Live in a volunteer house and work alongside local people
  • Assist a local English teacher with the opportunity to teach your own classes

Child Care Project

In Pokhara you'll volunteer in care centres which help disadvantaged children. You'll get involved with fun educational activities for the children including playing sports, leading games and activities and creating art projects. You will volunteer at two different care centres; one for street children and the other at a nursery school.

  • Play sport, lead games and activities with children for 4-12 weeks
  • Live in a volunteer house and work alongside local people
  • Feed and clothe younger children, assit them with school work and give them the loving attention they crave

Construction Project

Buildings in communities around Pokhara are in need of attention and this where you'll come in. No experience needed, just be ready to get your hands dirty. You'll get involved repairing and decorating classrooms to constructing new facolities within the community. You'll be helping to provide less priveledged communities with a comfortable environment to live and learn.

  • Construct or repair educational facilities and basic infrastructure for 4-6 weeks
  • Live in a shared volunteer house with a local family and work alongside local people
  • Make a genuine and worthwhile difference and boost your CV
