We are currently looking for 10 recent graduates to join our scheme early in 2018 with opportunities across six different functions. This is a two-year programme where successful individuals will have the opportunity to be exposed to and contribute to a wide range of projects and initiatives.
You will receive extensive practical support and mentoring while making an invaluable contribution to supporting the aims and goals of the organisation. With a structured learning programme and the potential to gain a professionally accredited qualification, Cafcass’ Graduate Development programme offers a great first career step.
Cafcass has had great success with this programme in the past, with previous graduates reporting the scheme provided an excellent opportunity to learn a wide range of skills develop professionally and that the programme acted as an excellent basis for their career, which for many included staying with Cafcass beyond the initial two years.
Within Human Resources (HR) we have two graduate posts that will primarily focus on:
- Project work supporting our workforce development strategy including organisation development and pay and reward
- Diversity and Inclusion or health and wellbeing

The successful candidates are likely to be based from our London (Bloomsbury) or Leeds offices. We may be able to consider other locations but the availability of / proximity to another suitable Cafcass office as well as the role requirements may mean this is not possible. Qualifications and experience requirements
Generally, we have no requirements on what subject your degree is in although it may be advantageous if your degree or work/volunteer experience had elements that are aligned to HR practice or business.
However, for candidates wishing to focus on health and wellbeing or diversity and inclusion it would be preferable if the degree subject or work/volunteer experience was closely linked to these areas.
Regardless of the specific role you want to apply for you will have:
- Graduated in 2016 or 2017
- Hold a 2:1 degree or higher
Accepted degree subjects
potential to rise to £22,5000 after 12 months plus £4,332 London weighting if applicable.
