Calor Gas Ltd is looking for motivated, committed graduates to join our 2019 Graduate Development Scheme. We’re offering a development programme that will give you real autonomy, visibility, responsibility and the opportunity to better yourself, whilst providing you with the tools to increase your business acumen, build a strong professional brand and develop your career path in Engineering, Supply Chain or Commercial.
The programme is designed to equip you with the business skills you will need throughout your career alongside giving you early operational experience in your field of interest; Engineering, Supply Chain or Commercial. You will develop through experience in four different 6 month placements covering varying aspects of the organisation, including front line operational roles and project work, all of which will be relevant to the area you will be specialising in come the end of the programme. Throughout all of this you will be undertaking business skills training and development with the support of a dedicated development programme manager, placement mentor and business mentor.
The programme will afford you an exceptional vantage point to understand the structure and culture of our business, and provide you with an opportunity to develop a wide spectrum of skills in an accelerated time.
What we are looking for
We are seeking graduates who have a sound level of business acumen, are self-starters, ambitious and motivated, who enjoy working in a visible position, thrive in a changing environment and love a challenge!
In order to be considered for the graduate development programme, you must:
- Have a keen interest in and be passionate about developing a career in one of the following areas; Engineering, Supply Chain/Logistics or Commercial/Sales
- Preferably have a couple of years’ post degree professional work experience
- Have a full, clean UK driving license
- Demonstrate behaviours and capabilities that reflect our core values; loyalty, integrity, delivery and innovation
- Be flexibile in regards to relocation (placements could be anywhere in the UK and possibly further away)
In order to be considered for the graduate development programme, you must have obtained or be predicted a 2.1 in your degree or above
