Graduate Associate Consultant

Job description

Who you’ll be working with
In BTS (Business and Technology Solutions), we support our clients through large scale transformations, enabled by brilliant technology solutions. We want the very best for our clients, and we know that the technology we implement can help them achieve great things. We also know that the implementation of a new technology solution impacts everything it touches, so our teams work collaboratively with our clients to ensure smooth and pain-free transitions.

We’re looking for people who love building great relationships with clients, and who naturally form trust from those they work with. Coming to work with us means using the right business consulting techniques to guide our clients through a seamless programme of activity which ensures the smooth running of our technology-enabled transformation projects.

This is a business technology role, requiring an emphasis on working with the business rather than focusing on technology.

The focus of your role
There are a number of teams within BTS into which we recruit graduates. These roles vary as we deliver IT enabled business transformation through supporting clients during the IT project lifecycle. You will be involved with shaping the right outcomes for a client, ensuring the right business value is derived from the technology being implemented.

You will be collaborating with clients to identify, explain, design and implement the right solutions for their business. You will work to develop your consulting skills and form lasting relationships with clients and colleagues.

What you’ll do

  • Understanding business requirements and transformation activities
  • Implementing organisational change interventions
  • Supporting project management activities
  • Assisting with testing services

Starting: June, September and November 2018.

What we are looking for

  • Brilliant communications (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills which you’ll use to produce trust in client relationships, and build supportive and productive team relationships.
  • A high level of attention to detail, and the ability to interpret data and information
  • A strong desire to further your own personal development
  • A nimble, agile and flexible approach

Please note: to meet security clearance requirements, you will need to have lived in the UK for the past five years. If you have spent more than six months outside the UK in that period, we will unfortunately not be able to consider you for the role.

Accepted degree subjects
