Graduate CDC Programme – Business and Technology Innovation (BTI) Academy 2019

Job description

I HEART building relationships. I ACE transforming business.

I HEART supporting clients. I ACE finding solutions.

As part of our Consulting Development Community (CDC), you will join one of the leading business IT services teams in the UK and Europe. Our high calibre management consultants deliver profitable outcomes in business- and IT-oriented environments, working with major FTSE 100 and government clients to achieve their strategic goals effectively.

The focus of your role
You will spend two years gaining experience on a wide array of projects, working with clients in various sectors including consumer products and retail, financial services and insurance, and government. From the outset, you’ll work on BTI delivery projects, drive our transformation assignments, and build valued and credible relationships with our clients. There are also opportunities to work on Capgemini Invent global solutions – across functions such as digital engineering, disruptive innovation, and AI and RPA ambition.

What you’ll do

  • You’ll learn how to be a management consultant specialising in business and technology innovation
  • You’ll help us transform the way businesses work, behave and deliver strategic objectives in the digital age
  • You’ll be part of a structured, market-recognised training programme with a choice of specialism in cybersecurity or digital IT

What we’ll offer you
You will start your consulting career with an intensive, two-week induction, followed by a three-day residential consulting skills workshop run by our renowned Capgemini university.

During your time in the CDC there will also be the opportunity to gain external accreditations and professional qualifications such as:

  • Agile and Scrum accreditation
  • PRINCE2 foundation level
  • CIMA’s Financial Management for Business
  • Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt

You’ll also have the opportunity to study for industry-recognised accreditations including cyber security and cloud qualifications.

Be rewarded
At the end of the two-year CDC programme, subject to performance, you will progress to become a consultant in one of our practice teams, with the opportunity for further specialisation. Throughout the programme you will continue to have the support and structure in place to help you achieve this goal.

It’s all part of our commitment to hiring the best people and enabling them to achieve their full potential with us, regardless of sex, race, disability, age, sexual orientation, gender reassignment, religion or belief, marital status, or pregnancy and maternity.

Why we're different
At Capgemini, we know that one solution doesn’t fit all. We appreciate that outstanding technical solutions become all the more outstanding when ingenuity is applied to a thought-process. And we know that the secret to any successful organisation lies not just in the quality of work that it is producing, but in the people who are behind this work. It is precisely this that makes Capgemini such a force to be reckoned with. Committed to applying ground-breaking technical approaches to organisations across a myriad of industries around the globe, we help our clients become more agile, competitive and successful.

Working collaboratively, our multidisciplinary people work in partnership with one another to help their clients achieve their goals. This inclusive spirit extends to ensuring every member of our organisation is finding the ideal work/life balance. Empowering our people to discover what they are truly capable of, at Capgemini we will give you all the support you need to shape the future and bring your ideas to life.

What we are looking for

  • A demonstrable passion for technology
  • A strong attention to detail, and an ability to interpret and present complex information clearly
  • Critical thinking, a curious nature, and a passion for problem solving

We will not be screening against A-level results for our graduate programme. Whilst we will still ask you to provide your A-level results during your application, this information will be gathered for data purposes only.
