We are looking for amazing individuals who want to start their IT career as a Digital Architect and want to join a graduate programme like no other. At Capgemini our expertly designed programme will take you from graduate level to qualified architect, including relevant technical certifications and an MSc Digital and Technology Specialist in Enterprise Architecture degree. This two-year programme is unique and is sponsored by our Head of Architecture. You will be working directly in her 300 strong community of inspiring experienced architects, drawing on their expertise and learning how to design the best technology solutions. You will be working to design how we transform our client’s existing services and create brand new services using cutting edge and emerging technologies with the client experience always in mind.

About the opportunity
You will be focussed on turning our client’s business challenges into technical solutions. You will be joining a dynamic and growing team, advising our clients as they grow their business using innovative technology solutions. We work with the client through all stages of a project, from presales, through to delivery, ‘go live’ and beyond. We provide technical leadership and support to Directors, Project Managers and technical teams. As an Architect, you will be viewed as a trusted advisor to our clients.
Our two year programme will provide you with significant training and accreditation including:
- Fully funded MSc Digital and Technology Specialist in Enterprise Architecture
- Relevant industry led cloud certifications in AWS/Azure/Google
- Defined soft skills training to complement your technical skills
- Continuous development of your architecture skills through training, internal and industry certifications, such as TOGAF and Capgemini Certified Architect
- A defined rotation plan to move around our technology areas to broaden your experience
- Work on some of the most leading-edge cloud-native and hybrid architectures in development today.
- Collaborate closely with our engineering teams to ensure our solutions are built to reflect your vision and make the best use of current development practices.
- Contribute and participate in the Capgemini community of architects.
As a vital part of our business, you’ll contribute to first-class end-to-end solutions in your assignments. You will play an active role in defining our practices, standards, and ways of working, and apply them to your role. To make the most of this opportunity you must be open to working across organisation and team boundaries to ensure we bring the best to our customers
What we are looking for
- A 2:2 bachelor’s degree or above, in computer science or related degree.
- If you have 1-2 years experience in industry is advantageous
- Most importantly, we want people with an appetite for learning new technologies and to be passionate about constant development
- A passion for technology, desire to build a career in Architecture, flair for solving problems and analytical skills.
- Plenty of drive, curiosity, and willingness to challenge and be challenged,
- An appetite to continually develop your skills and career
These roles require SC Security clearance. To meet the clearance requirements, you will need to;
- Have the right to live and work in the UK
- Be resident in the UK for the past five years
- Have spent no more than three consecutive months outside the UK in that period
If you cannot meet these criteria, we may not be able to consider you for this role.
