Within our consulting development community, our Analytics team comprises experienced business consultants, specialising in everything from the application of data science to complex business problems. The team engage with clients early on to identify which business challenges can be transformed through better use of data and analytics. Our work with business units across the wider Capgemini Investment Group allows us to deliver bigger and better analytics projects.
The focus of your role
Over two years, you’ll develop your expertise in helping businesses change the way they work - by demonstrating business potential to clients across a variety of sectors, then working with them to embed it into their business. As part of the Analytics team, you will specialise in an analytics capability and develop skills in a range of advanced analytical tools and techniques. There are also opportunities to work on Capgemini Invent global solutions - across functions such as digital engineering, disruptive innovation, and AI and RPA ambition.
What you’ll do
- You’ll learn how to be a management consultant specialising in data and analytics
- You’ll undertake analysis and research to help clients implement analytics-based solutions
- You’ll use modelling and analytical techniques to solve business problems as part of major business transformations
What we’ll offer you
You will start your consulting career with an intensive, two-week induction, followed by a three-day residential consulting skills workshop run by our renowned Capgemini university.
During your time in the CDC you will have the opportunity to gain external accreditations and professional training and qualifications, including:
- Microsoft professional program for data science
- Agile and Scrum accreditation
- PRINCE2 foundation level
- CIMA’s Financial Management for Business
- Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt
Alongside core consulting training, these will allow you to create your ideal blend of analytics and consulting skills, and shape your career with us.
At the end of the two-year CDC programme, subject to performance, you will progress to become a consultant in one of our practice teams, with the opportunity for further specialisation. Throughout the programme you will continue to have the support and structure in place to help you achieve this goal.

What we are looking for
- A keen interest in the use of analytical tools and statistical modelling
- An ability and appetite to analyse data with a variety of tools
- Critical thinking, a curious nature, and a passion for problem solving and technology
