The Novus Programme

Novus, Capita IT Resourcing’s skills and development programme is an exciting opportunity for university graduates to gain industry leading training and real-world experience working in the IT industry. Successful graduates have the chance to work with Capita businesses and our wide range of blue chip clients from a number of different industries, including finance, retail, insurance, defence, legal, software, media and energy amongst many others You can choose to join one of our two skills and development programmes - Change and Transformation or Development and Implementation.

Change and Transformation is designed to give you the skills to work within areas such as business analysis, requirements engineering, and PMO.

Development and Implementation is designed to give you the skills to work within areas such as software development, test analysis, test development and dev ops.

By joining the programme, you will gain 8-16 weeks extensive skills development in the latest technologies followed by the opportunity to have practical on-site experience, providing you with the best possible start in your career.

Training and development

We are a BCS accredited test and learning centre. Graduates learn a number of technical skills during their training with us, and can gain certificates aiding their career in IT.

For Test Analysts, you can gain the ISTQB ISEB Foundation Test Qualification; Software Developers earn subject specific qualifications from BCS; and IT Business Analysts have the opportunity to work towards an International Diploma in Business Analysis.
