Looking for a new challenge? MASH ((Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub), the front door to Cardiff Children’s Services may be for you. Fast paced, we are looking for someone to join this very busy team, co-located in Cardiff Bay Police Station.
Cardiff is a vibrant multi-cultural city and this is reflected in the many issues referred to the service. As a worker in the MASH you could be involved in discussions with various professionals including social workers, police, health and education.
You will work as a member of the MASH team, providing appropriate information and advice to professionals making a child safeguarding referral; signposting callers to other agencies as appropriate, dealing with telephone enquiries, emails and other methods of contact.
You will provide administrative support to the MASH team, including information gathering and sharing with professionals in a number of forums.
This is an exciting time to be joining the team as children’s services have adopted the signs of safety model for working with families.
