A chance to spend two years gaining a rich array of analyst experiences with a FTSE 100 company.
At Centrica, we secure and supply the energy that keeps millions of homes and businesses running. To satisfy the changing needs of our customers, and to make sure our strategy remains adaptive and successful, we need to engage in a wide range of sophisticated analytical activity.
As a graduate analyst, you’ll take on a series of three placements which could potentially expose you to any aspect of this work. From evaluating customer behaviour in highly competitive retail markets to predicting how much energy they will need in the future. From exploring how energy can be generated and stored to making major investment and hedging decisions to secure future supplies of gas and electricity.
Learning and development
You’ll be stretched and challenged throughout the programme, as you work with diverse data sets and get to grips with industry-leading analytics and insight tools. But there will be lots of opportunities for you to learn as well, both through formal training sessions and from the more experienced analysts working alongside you. Later on in the programme, you may also be able to study towards further professional qualifications in areas such as Management (MBA), Statistics (CStat) or Actuarial (FIA).
