As a graduate, you will be helping to provide the quality analytics on which this business depends, as you progress through a series of placements in areas such as Trading and Optimisation, LNG, Origination, Finance and Risk. Along the way, you’ll be able to develop a solid understanding of how the energy markets and our businesses operate.

But we’ll support your development throughout, providing you with formal behavioural and technical training and a structured performance management process. You’ll also have lots of opportunities to learn from the more experienced analysts who will be working alongside you.

We’re looking for graduates who are highly numerate and have a very strong interest in applying analytical techniques. Relationship-management skills are also important, as you’ll need to work effectively with a wide range of people, including colleagues, technical experts, business leaders and external parties. Plus you need to be the kind of person who can use their entrepreneurial instinct to identify opportunities for innovation and growth.
A minimum 2:1 degree is essential (2:2 if combined with a Master’s) in a numerical subject such as maths, physics, statistics, applied economics, chemistry or engineering.
