Our 10-week summer placement programme is designed to increase employability in students whilst providing a valuable resource to the business. We’re looking for self-directed learners and self-motivated individuals who show potential to grow, learn and develop on our programme. You should aim to demonstrate a can-do, proactive attitude and a genuine interest and desire to learn more about our business and industry. In return, we offer projects with a high level of responsibility and the opportunity to enhance and develop the fundamental skills required for working life, with a support network that’s second to none. We want you to stand out in the workplace and helping you establish your strengths and fulfil your potential is what our Summer Placement is all about. We also encourage you to get involved with community and charity activities. One of these is the Summer Placement Charity Challenge, which raises money for our chosen charities. In the last three years students have raised around £50,000 through various team initiatives – all while enhancing vital skills and networking across the business. If you perform well, you could leave us with an offer to join the Graduate Programme the following year.
We have locations across the UK – plus we arrange and pay for accommodation close to your place of work with other students based in the area.
We understand that our customers’ homes are their world. We want them to count on us to look after it and help them manage it. Variety, challenge and real responsibility are at the heart of this large, important and hugely rewarding part of our business.
You could be inspiring our people to deliver exceptional results, understanding the needs of our customers and people to enable you to deliver value adding transformational changes to our operations or introducing initiatives that will allow us to better serve our customers. As a summer placement student you will be given a lot of responsibility to make an impact in your role and understand our customer operations.
