Job description

Working in finance for a company that produces some of the world’s best loved breakfast cereals is an exciting place to be! The team are always involved in the conversation, so you’ll certainly never be bored. Based at Welwyn Garden City in Hertfordshire, you’ll build up strong foundations across Finance as you move around different areas of the function, learning your trade. Plus, you’ll get to work with international stakeholders through our Shared Service Centres and Global Head Office.

Over this three-year Graduate scheme, you’ll be given a whole host of responsibilities, from performing analytics to drive value within Profit and Loss, to preparing management reports to help inform decision making. You’ll learn how to balance the numbers, as well as how to forecast and undertake variance analysis – where you’ll learn how we predict anticipated sales, overheads etc. and then review any movement from those figures.

That’s a real professional placement, working on real projects while being mentored by industry experts. Putting your knowledge into practice but still learning all the time and taking great pride in what you do. Qualifications

This being finance, you’ll obviously need a head for figures and plenty of confidence when it comes to processing and interpreting data. Not to mention five GCSEs or equivalent (actual or predicted) grades 9-4 (A*-C if taken before 2017) including English language and maths, a degree in a related subject (finance, mathematics, accounting or similar).
