What we offer?

Commercial Sales & Management Graduate Programme

Our two year Commercial Sales & Management Graduate Programme is focused on finding talented individuals and developing them into the future leaders of our business.

The course allows you to gain an insight and understanding into all aspects of CEF from operations right through to manufacturing.

The programme will involve travel throughout the UK and will require time spent away from home, approximately one week in every four, attending training courses.

Course content will include:

  • Day to day operations
  • Customer service excellence
  • Commercial business training
  • Product knowledge training
  • Professional sales training
  • Management training
  • Human resources
  • Anti-bribery and company ethics
  • Electrical contractor (three month placement)
  • Accountancy
  • IT and marketing

You will also have the opportunity to participate in the EDA (Electrical Distributors Association) product knowledge training modules to achieve a recognised City & Guilds qualification.

Long term opportunity

On completion you’ll go on to your first Sales Management role as an Account Manager, just the beginning of a fast paced and rewarding career with CEF.

From there you will then have the opportunity to progress to a Branch Manager’s role where you can expect to receive an average salary of £48k, however our top performers achieve in excess of £80k plus a company car to the value of £50k.

What do you need?

There’s no doubt about it, a career with City Electrical Factors requires commitment, dedication and above all hard work, coupled with a need for excellent communication skills, bags of initiative and a real desire to succeed. In addition you should have the following minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor of honours degree, Min 2:2
  • A full UK driving licence.
