Life as an Apprentice
Apprentices are an integral part of our early careers talent. We’ll ensure that you get the support and opportunities you need to grow your career, learn new skills, and fulfil your potential. You will work with a personal mentor, who will help support your continued progression and 20% of your time will be set aside to focus on learning new skills. You’ll also have access to our e-learning platform and regular learning opportunities.
We host quarterly apprenticeship events where you will meet and collaborate with other apprentices from across the business. We offer a variety of events throughout the year, ranging from celebrating different cultures to networking opportunities.
How can you change it up?
Are you ready to help provide great customer experiences? As you work to achieve a Level 3 Customer Service Specialist Apprenticeship, you will provide the efficient administration and coordination support needed to ensure that customer queries are dealt with quickly. It’s an opportunity to learn fast and start your career in the right direction, as you will:
- Have the support of a mentor to develop your knowledge
- Gain training on Salesforce, our customer management system
- Learn how to generate, create and share high quality reports
- Have access to e-learning and apprenticeship events
What will you bring to the role?
You need to be a natural communicator who is confident, super-organised and full of initiative. An Apprenticeship is your chance to start learning from Day One, so we’re looking for someone who loves being part of a team, who wants to learn from others and who is curious about full-fibre and the potential it has. You must also have:
- At least five GCSEs
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Ambition and initiative
- A passion for connecting communities to better broadband

The Apprenticeship Standard you’ll be following is Level 3 Customer Service Specialist through our provider. Please note that we are required to pass your information to the training provider and by applying for this role you are aware of this and provide us with permission to do so.
