About CGP Books

CGP is the UK’s No.1 Educational Publisher!

CGP is a very exciting place to work. For a start, we’re the number one educational publisher in the UK and one of the fastest growing SMEs in the North West. We have books and digital resources to cover everything from Key Stage One to A-Level and over 1,000 titles in our range, we despatched over eight million books last year.

What’s more, as a completely independent publisher we have the freedom to do things differently from the competition and the flexibility to react quickly to curriculum changes.

At CGP we handle almost every stage of the publishing process (with the exception of printing) in-house from product development, editing, design, marketing, customer service and shipping. Our books are developed using input from teachers, are constantly updated and are written in a relaxed style that helps to keep students engaged.

We look after our employees

At CGP we have very high standards in everything we do from writing books and creating digital products to service. That’s why we take our recruitment seriously, only employing the very best people. In return we offer a wide range of perks and benefits on top of very competitive salaries and make sure everybody gets their fair share of the rewards.

We think CGP’s working environment is second-to-none. Our four sites have everything our 200 employees need to do their jobs effectively and comfortably and our uniquely beautiful Lake District location is an added bonus.

Interested in working for CGP?

We’re always on the lookout for talented, enthusiastic graduates to help us continue expanding and improving. If you have (or are heading towards) a top degree from a first class university, we’d love to hear from you. Why not visit the CGP website for more details, or give us a call.
