Are you passionate about customer service?
A place on our leadership programme will provide you with a platform to develop your skills to successfully inspire and empower a team of customer service professionals to achieve excellent outcomes for our members.
You’ll have the opportunity to work in different roles within our Branch Network, Savings Operations or Mortgage Contact Centre teams where you’ll be at the forefront of serving our members. By working within these teams you’ll develop an appreciation of how important each role is before being given the opportunity to use this experience to support a team. Throughout the programme you’ll be involved in:
- Building relationships and understanding member needs
- Supporting, mentoring and guiding team members
- Continually reviewing and improving processes
- Assisting with and leading on our community support projects
How will you develop?
By creating a programme that offers the chance to learn from some of the most experienced people in the industry, with continuous feedback and mentoring, we feel we can really help you develop and grow your career. You’ll also have the opportunity to enhance your core knowledge and skills in areas such as stakeholder engagement, communication and presentation delivery. The experiences and exposure you get will be varied, giving you the chance to use your own initiative but also work closely with others on numerous group projects.
The Coventry Building Society has been providing mortgages and savings accounts to communities across Britain for over 130 years. With a £35 billion balance sheet, we’re one of the country’s most significant financial institutions – and our success is built on serving the best interests of our members, helping them to identify the products and services that are right for them.
In essence joining the Coventry Building Society’s graduate scheme will give you an outstanding introduction to the Financial Services industry with a business that exists to serve the interests of its members. We choose our staff every bit as carefully as we choose the services we offer our members and so look for people who share our values and our way of working. We are looking for individuals who have recently graduated, have a passion for Financial Services and who have achieved (or are expecting to achieve) a 2:1 or above in any degree subject or a Merit or above in a Masters qualification.
