Finance - International Development Internships
Responding to the needs of our growing business, alongside our desire to develop future talent, DAI is offering four 12-month placement roles as part of our 2018/19 programme. The 12-month placements will be spent in either our Finance or Business Development (BDU) and Project Management (PMU) departments (see other advert) and, if successful, there may be the opportunity for employment in a permanent role at the conclusion of your degree.
These internships will start in September 2018, for a duration of 12 months. The positions will be based in DAI’s spacious, custom-designed offices in Apsley, 30 minutes out of London Euston – with excellent rail and motorway links to London and the region.
Within the Finance Unit you will spend part of your year supporting the Management Accounting group and the remainder working with the Project Accountants offering financial support to head office staff on one of DAI’s established donor-funded overseas projects.
You will work to structured goals and will, with your line manager, review the success of your contribution to determine whether there is a mutual fit for a permanent role at the end of your placement.
DAI may have additional opportunities for internships in the areas of human resources and contracting/pricing/budgeting. If you are interested in potential placements in these areas please email. We can then inform you if opportunities become available.
In addition to the salary you will benefit from 25 days' paid leave and eligibility to join company pension scheme and take advantage of other benefits after a qualifying period. These include life insurance, income protection, contribution to gym membership, cycle to work scheme etc.
