Job description

As one of our graduates, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of automotive repair. You’ll be bold. You’ll soak up new experiences. Your ideas will shape what we do – and could make a positive impact on our customers’ lives.

Over a three-year rotational programme throughout the Midlands region, you’ll gain knowledge and experience to build your understanding of our Auto Services business, our customers, and the wider industry. This will also include a one month placement in Manchester, when the cost of accommodation will be covered by DLG.

Over the course of this scheme you will gain a thorough understanding of the bodyshop business and of advanced automotive technology alongside the soft skills training that DLG Graduates receive when completing their programme.

At the end of the programme you’ll have the chance to move on to a permanent role… so could this be your launchpad to the very top of our business.

Roles could include:

  • VDA (estimating of accident damaged vehicles, liaising with the customer, DLG engineering function as appropriate and depending upon circumstance)
  • Specialist in an advanced technology
  • A member of the Technical Transformation team (managing and supporting changes in the repair network).

From day one, you’ll be encouraged, supported and listened to. You’ll take ownership of fast-paced projects – and enjoy on-the-job training and workshops, to develop your skills and gain optional qualifications.

At least a 2:2 undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline - ideally technical engineering
